Hello, my name is Brad Chailland. I'm currently pursuing a degree in computer science at the University of Arkansas. Alongside my academic studies, I dedicate my free time to developing personal projects that reflect my technical interests and curiosity.
My interest in technology and computing began early. I was introduced to programming at 13, starting with Objective-C, and around that same time, I learned how to build computers from the ground up.
Over the years, I have gained experience with a wide range of technologies and systems. During high school, I worked with Python 2, Visual Basic, and C# using Microsoft's XNA Framework. Following graduation, I shifted my focus toward computer networking, Linux-based operating systems, self-hosting services, and containerization.
I've developed several projects that build upon my technical foundation. My first major independent project was a Python-based package manager for Minecraft servers, utilizing PaperMC's Hangar API. During my time in college, I sought to create a practical web application that combined my experience in networking, hosting, and application development. This led to the creation of WDW-Dashboard, a minimalist wait-time viewer for Walt Disney World.
I am passionate about building practical, efficient systems and tools, and I am always looking for opportunities to apply and expand my skill set.
